You're second-guessing every decision. Your former peers are now your reports, and you feel like you're faking it. You wonder if they see through you—if they think you're not ready for this role.
You know you need to give constructive feedback, but you keep avoiding those conversations. You're worried about how they'll react, whether they'll resent you, if it will damage the relationship.
You're working harder than ever—doing your job AND your team's job. You don't trust them to do it as well as you, so you just... do it yourself. And you're exhausted.
Everyone says "coach your team," but what does that actually mean? You default to giving answers instead of asking questions. You're managing, not developing.
You're executing tasks, but you don't have a clear vision for your team. You're reacting to whatever comes your way instead of leading with intention and purpose.
You're constantly stressed, working long hours, sacrificing your wellbeing. You can't sustain this pace, but you don't know how to lead differently.
Your managers aren’t struggling because they lack skills.
They’re struggling because they’ve never been taught how to think like leaders.

Tanique Easy
Leadership Coach | Corporate Trainer | Speaker
I didn't learn leadership in a corner office—I learned it in the
trenches where most new managers actually operate.
My leadership journey began not in corporate training rooms, but in
volunteer board positions where I had to lead without formal
authority. As a member of my strata board, I led multi-stakeholder
projects through contentious decisions with millions on the line. I've
served on community boards where influence was everything and
authority was nothing.
In Toastmasters, I've held multiple leadership roles—Sergeant-at-
Arms, Vice President of Education (twice), President, and currently
Assistant Division Director for Club Growth. I've mentored emerging
leaders, organized international speech contests, and built
leadership development systems that create results.
Why does this matter for you?
Because the leadership challenges I navigated—leading peers,
building consensus, influencing without authority, developing
others, navigating resistance—are exactly the challenges YOU face
as a first-time or mid-level manager.
I combine this real-world experience with training in modern
psychology, performance science, and NLP to create leadership
development that's both practical and transformational.
The M.V.P. Framework isn't theory—it's battle-tested in the exact
environments where most leadership development happens: peer-
to-peer, influence-based, relationship-driven.
My mission: To develop confident, self-aware leaders who inspire
their teams, drive results, and create positive impact—without
burning out.
